Liverpool law firm Paul Crowley & Co Solicitors are celebrating as their sponsored boxer successfully defended his Commonwealth Flyweight title and added the British belt in front of a sell-out crowd at Liverpool Echo Arena.

Kevin Satchell, from Kirkdale, defeated Chris Edwards on Saturday night to acquire the British Flyweight title. In a measured and skilful performance, he stopped the Stoke veteran in the sixth round to the delight of the hometown crowd.

He was supported by staff from Paul Crowley & Co Solicitors, who have sponsored Kevin since he first started out as a professional just over two years ago. Through that time they have been present at his 9 professional bouts as well as supporting him through the rigid training regime to be a successful fighter.

Tracy Thompson, Practice Development Manager at the firm, said: ‘We were thrilled to see Kevin produce such an accomplished performance on Saturday, and the atmosphere was electric. As a firm which has a reputation for being community focused, we try and support local youth in any way possible – whether by getting involved with local schools or helping talented young people like Kevin.

‘There’s also a family link here with Kevin, as he is the nephew of one of our partners, Paula Satchell. It’s great to see him doing so well and we look forward to supporting him as his career continues to develop.’
